Police responded to a call from residents saying they heard gunfire early on Saturday morning and found a house with several shell casings in the front and several bullets in the structure.
The house was in the 3200 block of South Knight, said Sgt. John Hoofer of the Wichita Police Department. The call came in at about 4:40 a.m. Seven people were inside the house, ranging in age from 4 to 34, but no one was injured.
No one has been arrested, Hoofer said.
