Wichita church plans potluck supper to honor veterans
The commander of the Air Force Reserve unit at McConnell Air Force Base will be the featured speaker Nov. 9 for a potluck supper at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Col. Mark Larson, of the 931st Air Refueling Group, will speak at the event. The annual “Veterans Potluck” is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 925 N. Waco.
Veterans are invited to wear their uniforms and share their military service experiences. Veterans Day is Nov. 11.
