Man pronounced dead after one-vehicle crash on K-96 Friday
A man was pronounced dead following a single-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of K-96 near 125th Street West on Friday evening, according to Kansas Highway Patrol dispatchers.
The crash was reported at 9:52 p.m., dispatch said. The victim was unresponsive when he was found, dispatch said, and pronounced dead nearly 40 minutes later after resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
Emergency radio traffic indicates the victim is a man, possibly in his 20s, who was injured when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Further details were not immediately available.
