The Sedgwick County Extension will be offering its next Internet Safety for Parents workshop starting Thursday.

The workshop, presented by police detective Jennifer Wright of the Exploited and Missing Child Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. three Thursdays in a row — Sept. 3, 10 and 17 — at the Extension Education Center at 21st and Ridge Road. The workshop is for adults only and is designed to help them keep children safe on the Internet.

The cost is $20 per family. Register by calling 316-660-0100 or online at www.sedgwick.ksu.edu.
