A 53-year-old commercial truck driver from Wichita died Saturday morning after colliding with another semi in Pratt County.

53-year-old James Glover Jr. was driving east on U.S. 54 about half a mile west of Cullison, in Pratt County, two counties west of Sedgwick County, around 5:22 a.m. on Saturday morning when the Kansas Highway Patrol said he crossed the center line and drove into westbound traffic for an unknown reason, a KHP report said.

Glover’s semi, which was pulling a trailer, struck the side of another trailer-hauling semi before it came to a stop in the westbound lane. The second semi lost its trailer cargo and stopped in a ditch.

The second semi-driver was not hurt, but Glover was fatally injured.
