Wichita police found a 34-year-old man dead and three others unresponsive at a southwest Wichita home early Wednesday morning.

It was reported as an overdose call, a spokesman with the department confirmed in an email to the Eagle, around 12:53 a.m. on Wednesday at a home in the 3200 block of South Euclid, between Kelly Liberal Arts Elementary School and Osage Park.

Outside, police found a 50-year-old Wichita man unresponsive on the ground. Inside the house, three more Wichitans were found unconscious, a 58-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man.

“Officers administered medical aid until EMS arrived,” the WPD spokesman said. “EMS then initiated life-saving procedures and transported the individuals to a nearby hospital.”

They were all taken to the hospital in critical condition and, at 2:12 a.m., the 34-year-old died. The department said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should contact Wichita Police investigators at 316-268-4407 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 316-267-2111.
