63-year-old Wichita man identified as victim of fatal Sunday evening car crash

The 63-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle rollover Sunday evening has been identified by police as Gregory Curry of Wichita.

Curry was driving near 24th Street North and 143rd Street East, northwest of Andover, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday when his gold Ford SUV left the roadway, a press release from the Wichita Police Department says.

Curry’s car entered a ditch before rolling and coming to a rest, the release says. Curry, the sole occupant, was removed from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, the press release says.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing. Anyone with information on what happened is asked to contact Wichita police accident follow-up detectives at 316-350-3686 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 316-267-2111.
