Wichita man dies after wreck caused by suspected medical emergency, official says
A 75-year-old Wichita man died in a Saturday morning wreck after having a suspected medical emergency, a Wichita Police Department spokesperson said.
The man’s wife was also in the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Police did not say if she was injured.
EMS took the man to the hospital, where he later died because of “the medical condition,” police spokesperson Andrew Ford said. The wreck was reported at 12:48 a.m. in the 6800 block of East Winterberry Circle, which is near 29th Street North and Woodlawn in northeast Wichita.
