The motorcyclist who died in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Wichita on Wednesday left the road and hit a barrier wall, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper wrote in a crash report.

The KHP identified the motorcyclist as 47-year-old Shaun Keller of Augusta. He was driving a 2003 Honda motorcycle northbound around 1:38 p.m. in the “right lane when it drove off the left side of the road and struck the barrier wall,” the trooper wrote. It happened near Rock Road.

He died at the scene.
