A 37-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in east Wichita.

The pedestrian was hit in the 300 block of South Edgemoor around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday.

A Sedgwick County Emergency Communications 911 supervisor confirmed the man was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
