It’s not every day you can find a home located on a 70-acre boating lake in Kansas, but if you are in the market for one, it’s your lucky day.

A new listing at 4620 N. Ridge Port St., located in west Wichita, is on sale for $1,099,875 and represented by J Russell Real Estate. The lake the home is situated on is expected to be expanded to 140 acres, real estate agent Todd Davis said.

“We’ve got playgrounds and basketball goals, swimming pool, clubhouse, all that kind of stuff in the neighborhood. So really, it’s family oriented, it’s entertaining oriented,” Davis told The Eagle.

The house is just less than 4,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the listing says.

“Situated on a premium lakefront lot, this home boasts a timeless elevation with rich brick, wood accents, dormer windows, and an elegant arched entryway,” the Zillow listing reads. “Inside, you’re greeted by soaring ceilings, a grand living room with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing breathtaking water views, and a stunning fireplace flanked by custom built-ins.”

The home, built in 2024, features a primary suite with dual vanities, a tile shower with dual shower heads and a private dressing room.

The main floor has two additional bedrooms with walk-in closets, as well as a private office and access to the outdoor, covered deck.

Additionally, the home features a walk-out basement, complete with 9-foot ceilings, a living space, game room, wet bar, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The basement walks out to arguably the home’s most unique feature: the private beach.

“Castaway offers unmatched amenities including a lakeside clubhouse, pool, playground, basketball court, and public beach areas. Live every day like a vacation — right here at Castaway,” the listing reads.

The home is situated on a 0.44-acre lot.
