Cyclist critically injured in collision near 21st and I-135
A bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a truck near 21st and I-135 on Tuesday.
Around 12:45 p.m., a 911 caller reported that a white Toyota Tundra hit a person on a bicycle, according to Sedgwick County Emergency Communications 911 scanner traffic. Details obtained from scanner traffic are preliminary and subject to change.
A Sedgwick County Emergency Communications supervisor confirmed the man was critically injured. The 53-year-old cyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment.
