Pedestrian killed in 21st and Woodlawn car crash
A pedestrian was killed Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at a busy northeast Wichita intersection.
Wichita police were alerted just after 7 p.m. on Jan. 5 that a man in his 50s had been struck by a vehicle at 21st and Woodlawn.
According to Sedgwick County Emergency Communications 911 scanner traffic, the man was not conscious and not breathing. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
