Where can you see Christmas lights in Wichita? Your guide to 16 can’t-miss spots
December is here, and what better way to get into the holiday spirit than by looking at Christmas lights.
One of Wichita’s most popular holiday traditions, Illuminations at Botanica, is now open. The annual light display has nearly 2 million lights, as well as Santa Claus and food booths for guests to enjoy. You can visit the event at Botanica, which was recently named Kansas’ most beautiful garden, through Saturday, Jan. 3.
But Botanica isn’t the only spot offering up holiday spirit this year. Many homeowners across the city participate in their own traditions by decking their houses out in Christmas lights for people to enjoy through the season.
If you’re on the hunt for the best holiday light displays, we’ve put together a guide that we’ll update through the month. So put on your matching family Christmas pajamas, make some fresh hot chocolate and hop in your car.
If there’s a must-see light display we forgot to add, please email it to lsmith@wichitaeagle.com. You can also submit holiday displays through our online form.
