Staff member dies at Wichita East High School, principal tells parents
A Wichita East High School staff member died at the school on Friday, the principal said in an email sent to parents.
Principal Sara Richardson said in the email that the district cannot release the name of the staffer at this time as family members are notified of the death.
“We will have counselors available at school on Monday in order to provide support for anyone who may need it,” Richardson wrote in the email.
“We appreciate your support as we are dealing with this tragic situation,” Richardson wrote.
