Do you have the cutest dog or cat in Wichita? Enter them in our contest
If you ask any pet owner who the cutest dog or cat on the planet is, there’s no doubt they would say their own.
No matter if it’s your pet’s looks, personality or individual quirks, you could easily come up with a list of reasons why you friend deserves the title. But The Wichita Eagle would like to let the public decide.
We’re hosting two pet competitions — one for cats and another for dogs — to find the cutest pets in the Wichita area. If you think your pet deserves a chance to compete, you can enter them now.
FAQs about The Eagle’s cutest pet in Wichita poll
While we know the results of our competition won’t change your mind about your pet taking first place, you might still find it fun to see your pet compete.
To submit your cat or dog (or multiple!), fill out the Google form linked here before noon Thursday, Oct. 16. If you are entering multiple pets, please submit them individually. We are not able to include late entries.
(Photos of your pet in their Halloween costume are welcome, but not required.)
Not only will you be submitting your pet as a contender for our cutest pet in Wichita poll, our winners will move on to a nationwide round to find the cutest pets across McClatchy News’ U.S. markets.
In addition to a photo, we also ask you to include contact information and some basic details about your furry friend.
Starting Monday, Oct. 20, Wichita Eagle readers will be able to vote for their picks for cutest dog and cat. The schedule for voting is:
- Opening round of voting: Monday, Oct. 20 to midnight Wednesday, Oct. 22
- Second round of voting: Thursday, Oct. 23 to midnight Monday, Oct. 27
- Winner announcement: Monday, Nov. 3
The winner will get a feature story of their pet posted on Kansas.com and move on to McClatchy’s national cutest pet competition. Remember, this poll isn’t scientific, it’s just for fun!
By submitting a photo, you agree that your entry and images may be published online or in print by The Wichita Eagle and its parent company McClatchy News, and that you accept our Terms of Service.
