Craving fresh sweet corn on the cob? This Kansas farm’s crop is now ready

Sweet corn will be available at Gaeddert Farms stands starting Tuesday, July 1, it said on social media.

The farm, near Buhler in Reno County, has 10 stand locations in south-central Kansas this year, with five in Wichita, according to its website.

The stands, with their familiar green and yellow canopies, went up several weeks ago. They’ve been selling various produce such as tomatoes and Black Diamond watermelon.

But Tuesday is the first day their sweet corn will be sold.

The stands are open Tuesday through Saturday, but hours vary based on location. Check their website, gaeddertfarms.com, for details.
