A 44-year-old Attica man died in a head-on crash with a semi on Friday on K-42 in rural Sedgwick County, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper said.

Eugene Judson Theodore Stumblingbear died at the scene of the accident, which happened at 12:51 p.m. He was driving east in the westbound lanes on the two-lane highway in a 2010 Buick LaCrosse and hit head on with a 2024 Western Star semi.
