Wichita man arrested in crash that killed motorcyclist

A 57-year-old Wichita man has been arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter in a crash Thursday that killed a 27-year-old man on a motorcycle, according to arrest records released Friday morning.

Allan Smith of Wichita was found critically injured when first responders arrived in the 300 block of East Harry at about 5:35 p.m. EMS took Smith to a Wichita hospital where he passed away.

Smith was riding a 2005 Yahama when the crash happened; the 57-year-old was driving a 2017 Ford F-250.
