Police are awaiting the result of an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 57-year-old homeless man whose body was found Monday night near downtown, Capt. Aaron Moses said Wednesday.

Ricky Coultis was found dead when EMS were called at 7:59 p.m. Monday. There were no signs of trauma, Moses said.

The call was in the 300 block of North Waters. Coultis was found in Mayor’s Pine Grove, which is an island of grass and trees between roads at Second and Water near the downtown post office.
