Lyndons, a boutique at Bradley Fair, will be temporarily closed after an electrical fire Thursday night.

Wichita Fire Department Battalion Chief Jose Ocadiz said there is “smoke damage throughout the business and fire damage to the electrical panel.” The panel is at the back of the business.

Merchandise in the woman’s boutique also had fire damage. There were no injuries.

Staff will provide an update of when the business will reopen, according to a social media post. The store was closed for the day when a neighboring business called 911 at 6:52 p.m. to report smoke coming into their business.

Arriving firefighters found light smoke coming from the exterior. Firefighters forced open the door and found “black smoke was found banked down to the floor level,” Ocadiz said.

He said there was light smoke damage to connected businesses.

The fire has been ruled “accidental due to electrical,” he said.
