Police identified a 49-year-old man who died after being thrown off his motorcycle Saturday on Kellogg.

The motorcyclist was identified as Carmi Williams of Salina, Wichita police spokesperson Kristopher Gupilan said Tuesday.

Officers were sent shortly after 1:30 a.m. to a crash call in the area of Kellogg and Hydraulic.

Williams was riding westbound on Kellogg when he left the road, struck a guard rail, and was thrown off the motorcycle and into an embankment, WPD spokesperson Andrew Ford said in email.
