Two ramps along I-235 in Wichita will be closed off for several hours this weekend, the Kansas Department of Transportation said.

The ramps from northbound I-235 to northbound I-135 and northbound I-235 to eastbound K-254 will be closed on Saturday from 5 a.m. until noon.

The closure will allow KDOT work crews to install new sign footing. Traffic will be detoured on southbound I-135.

KDOT urges motorists to be alert and drive cautiously in the work zone. Residents can view construction projects in Wichita and across the state by visiting www.kandrive.gov
