The air quality in Wichita Thursday afternoon rose to where it is deemed unhealthy for some residents.

As of 4 p.m., the air quality sits at 105, which is rated “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” according to AirNow. gov.

“People with lung disease such as asthma, children and teens, older adults, and people who are routinely active outdoors for six or more hours a day are encouraged to take steps to reduce your exposure,” the city of Wichita said in Facebook post.
