A 19-year-old Wichita motorcyclist has died after crashing into another vehicle on K-42 Wednesday night, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Nathan Gibbs said Friday.

Bradley Buhr died at 4:48 p.m. Thursday.

Buhr was driving a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 eastbound on K-42 when he struck a 2015 Chevrolet Impala. Both were headed eastbound. The accident happened around 9:54 p.m.

Gibbs said it “appears speed was a factor on the part of the motorcycle, however the crash is under investigation.”

Buhr was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
