Park City man dies after crash on I-135
A Park City man died Friday morning after a crash on I-135 just north of 13th Street, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
Shortly before 10:15 a.m., a Buick passenger car merged into northbound traffic from 13th Street. According to the log, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the east concrete barrier.
A passenger, 84-year-old Donald Cool, was taken to Wesley Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The 82-year-old driver of the car and a 38-year-old passenger were also injured in the crash.
