A 41-year-old Wichita man died after a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan Wednesday on Rock Road near Bradley Fair.

He was identified as Robert Johnson, Wichita police Lt. Aaron Moses said in a news release.

Police responded shortly before 6 p.m. to a collision in the 1800 block of North Rock Road. EMS took Johnson to a hospital, where he died, Moses said.

Johnson was heading south on Rock Road while the car was northbound on Rock Road. The crash did not happen at an intersection, Moses said in an email.

Detectives think speed may have been a factor in the crash, the release said. No details were offered.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on the collision is encouraged to call detectives with the accident follow-up team at 316-350-3687.
