Woman jumps from car near Kellogg and Seneca

A 32-year-old woman jumped from a moving car on west Kellogg shortly before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near downtown Wichita.

She told police she had previously been picked up at an unknown location by a man she knew. When she climbed into the car, she noticed the man was armed with a handgun, according to Lt. Joe Schroeder, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The woman jumped from the car near Kellogg and Seneca.

She received injuries to her legs and upper body and was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
