Collision at 13th and Mosley injures baby, woman and two Wichita police officers
A collision between a police car and another car injured a woman, infant boy and two officers shortly before midnight on Sunday, police spokesperson Chad Ditch said in a news release.
The police vehicle collided with a white 2015 Ford Fusion at the intersection of 13th and Mosley near downtown Wichita around 11:50 p.m., Ditch said. The police vehicle was heading west on 13th Street and the Fusion was southbound on Mosley.
The 21-year-old driver and 9-month-old boy in the Fusion and the two officers suffered minor injuries, Ditch said.
The collision happened after the officers activated their emergency lights and sirens to assist other officers in a vehicle pursuit, Ditch said.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash.
