Wichita police are investigating a Sunday morning crash that killed a 22-year-old woman, police spokesperson Chad Ditch said in a news release.

The crash was reported around 7:40 a.m. near Kellogg and Washington.

Police learned the woman was heading westbound on Kellogg in a black 2012 Honda Accord when for unknown reasons it struck a concrete wall, went over the wall and landed on Washington Street. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Ditch said.

The investigation is ongoing and no other vehicles were involved in the incident. Police say they will release the name of the woman later this week.
