Man, 30, killed in accident in southeast Sedgwick County

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident that happened early Sunday morning in the southeast portion of the county.

A 30-year-old man was killed shortly after 1:58 a.m. Sunday near 7100 S. Greenwich, according to Lt. Mary Mattingly, spokeswoman for the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

When officers arrived at the scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames, she said.
