Car hits Petco store in northeast Wichita

No one was injured when a car ran into the doors of a Petco store near 29th and Rock Road late Wednesday afternoon, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said.

The store was open at the time, around 4:30 p.m., a worker at the store said.

The car did “very minor structure damage, or that, even,” the dispatcher said, as the doors open automatically.

The driver of the vehicle refused medical treatment, the dispatcher said.

The car did not enter the store completely, the dispatcher said.
