Woman who stopped to help after Kellogg accident dies of injuries

A woman who stopped to help people involved in an accident on Kellogg on Saturday has died of injuries she received when she was struck by a motorcycle.

The 19-year-old, who was not directly involved in the crash, stopped to help occupants of an SUV that had flipped over on Kellogg, according to police spokesperson Trevor Macy.

The woman was struck by a motorcycle driven by Justin Cunningham shortly after 2 a.m. on eastbound Kellogg, near Kellogg and Armour, Macy said. Cunningham died at the scene of the accident.

The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. She died Monday afternoon, Macy said.
