Two men are dead after a collision late Wednesday in the northbound lanes of I-235 near the Broadway interchange, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

Darth Cline, 56, of Wichita, was heading south on I-235 within milepost 15 in a 2011 Dodge 2500 Ram pickup truck when the pickup went off the road and crossed the center median for “unknown reason,” according to the crash log.

The pickup collided with a FedEx truck driven by Tyler Bauer, 30, of Wichita, who was heading north on I-235, according to the crash log.

The pickup “came to a stop across lanes 1 and 2,” and the FedEx truck “came to a stop in the south Ditch,” the report said.

Cline died at the scene. Bauer was taken a hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to the crash log.

No other vehicles were involved.
