Wichita woman in fair condition after fatal weekend crash in Cowley County

A Wichita man was one of two people killed in a crash late Saturday night in Cowley County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Isaac Horn, 42, of Wichita was traveling south on 31st Road at about 11:45 p.m. when his Lincoln Town Car left the road for unknown reasons about three miles east of Geuda Springs and slammed into a tree, according to a highway patrol accident report.

Horn and a passenger, 47-year-old Yolando Narvaez, died in the crash. Two passengers were injured.

Erin Cooper, 25, of Wichita is in fair condition at Wesley Medical Center. Loren Mendia, 26, of Wellington was taken to South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City. An updated condition report on Mendia is not yet available.
