Two men are dead after a fatal crash early Monday morning at the intersection of K-42 and S 119th Street West.

David Curtis, 54, of Wichita and Ryan Davis, 45, of Medicine Lodge both died at the site of the accident, KHP crash logs show.

Curtis was in a 2000 Toyota Camry traveling southbound on 119th Street West. Davis was in a 2003 Chevy Suburban 1500 traveling west on K-42, the report says.

Curtis was making a left turn to eastbound K-42 when Davis struck the Camry’s driver side, according to the report.

Trooper Chad Crittenden with the Kansas Highway Patrol said over the phone it is unclear which driver failed to yield at the traffic light. He said the area was closed off Monday from 2:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
