Two men report being robbed outside their home

Officers responded to a robbery call in the 1700 block of West First Street at around 5:20 p.m. Friday.

Two male roommates, a 52-year-old and a 48-year-old, were standing outside their home when two men approached them with a handgun. The suspects were in their late teens or early 20s and were wearing face masks, sunglasses and hats. Both are still at large.

The suspects took a wallet and cellphone from the 52-year-old man and then ran away. When police arrived at the home, they found the cellphone and wallet, with a small amount of cash missing from the wallet.
