Town hall to be held at VA hospital on Thursday

Officials at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center are hosting a town hall meeting Thursday afternoon to hear feedback about Veterans Affairs programs, according to a news release.

Veterans, their family members, military service members and the general public are invited to provide suggestions and ask questions about the VA’s programs, according to the release. There will also be a Regional Office Benefits Claims Clinic, the release said.

The town hall will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in the medical center’s auditorium, 5500 E. Kellogg, Building 4.

The VA is hosting similar town halls across the country in an effort to improve and “rebuild trust among veterans,” the release said.
