Police seek 15-year-old boy after shootings

Police are looking for a 15-year-old boy linked to two shootings targeting the same person Wednesday night.

The suspect clashed with an 18-year-old man at about 9:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Oliver, Lt. Joe Schroeder said. As the 18-year-old drove away, the younger teen “fired several shots,” which missed.

A short time later, the same two people clashed again near Northeast Parkway and 14th Street, Schroeder said. More shots were fired, but they again missed.

The victim gave police the identity of the shooter, Schroeder said, and officers are now looking for him. The clash does not appear to be gang-related, Schroeder said, but investigators do not know what prompted the altercations.
