Reward offered for missing Wichita woman whose cellphone last pinged near Haysville

A $1,000 reward is being offered for tips that help locate a missing Wichita woman, the Wichita Police Department said Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Wichita police detectives and the mounted unit, as well as Sedgwick County sheriff’s detectives and cadaver and search canines searched an area south of Haysville, where Schneider’s cellphone last pinged, police said.

Schneider was last seen at her home in the 10300 block of West Alamo, near 13th and Maize, police said. She is 5-foot-8, 110 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information about Schneider’s whereabouts can call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.

Police said Tuesday’s search included detectives from the Wichita Police Department and Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, WPD mounted unit as well as cadaver and article search K9s.
