Missing boy Jayson Edgar has been found safe, Wichita police said.

Wichita police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 6-year-old boy who went missing Sunday evening.

Jayson Edgar was last seen at around 5:30 p.m. in a small park area in the 2600 block of North Ash, Officer Charley Davidson said. Edgar was wearing a blue coat, gray and orange horizontal stripe shirt, blue sweat pants, and black and white Velcro shoes. He was described as 4 feet tall and 60 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jayson is asked to call 911.
