Driver partially ejected from vehicle dies in Sedgwick County
A man was found dead on Monday afternoon after the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an overturned vehicle in a field.
According to a Sheriff’s Office crash report, Jason Wilson was driving westbound in the wrong lane in the 31500 block of West 47th Street South when he left the dirt road, hit a ditch and overturned into a field. The report says Wilson was partially ejected from the vehicle when his body was found.
The Sheriff’s Office crash log did not list the cause of the wreck. The Sheriff’s Office was notified about the wreck at 1:12 p.m.
