Spirit worker suffers chemical burns to face
A woman suffered chemical burns to her face in a workplace accident at Spirit AeroSystems on Thursday morning, authorities said.
The accident was reported just before 4:15 a.m. Thursday at Spirit Gate 13 off MacArthur Road, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said. The 42-year-old woman was transported to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis for treatment.
