Wichita is gearing up for the 2020 Census, and the Census Bureau is hiring.

Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau hires people for temporary jobs to help with the survey effort.

Census representatives will take questions during the Wichita Independent Neighborhoods general meeting on Monday, said David Babich of WIN.

The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the United Way of the Plains building, 245 N. Water.

Details on hiring for census jobs will be discussed at the meeting, Babich said. The meeting is open to the public.
