Watch Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies lip sync to The Lion King's 'Hakuna Matata'

Several Kansas law enforcement agencies are starting a so-called lip sync battle after a Wichita-area agency posted a video of deputies mouthing the words to a Disney song.

Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office deputies lip sync to The Lion King's "Hakuna Matata" in a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office also tags the Twitter accounts for police in Lawrence, Topeka, Kansas City, Mo., and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Kansas Highway Patrol. It asked, "What is your problem free philosophy."

"I was having a bad day, I just got out of the sergeant's office, and I hate Mondays," one deputy says in the video.

"Dude it's Tuesday," says another deputy before the video cuts to the start of "Hakuna Matata."

The video was posted a day after Kansas Capitol Police tagged several Kansas law enforcement agencies — including the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office — asking, "I wander (sic) which of these agencies may start an 'unofficial' #LipSyncChallenge #LipSyncBattle in Kansas?"

The Kansas Highway Patrol Recruiting Twitter account posted a video Tuesday of Trooper Tiffany Bush lip syncing to Five Finger Death Punch's "Blue on Black."

Topeka police polled its Facebook followers for which song the department's officers should lip sync, and the winner was "Oh Mickey You're So Fine." The song "Mickey" is a cover by Toni Basil of Racey's "Kitty." Police said in a tweet to, "stay tuned for the final product."

The Johnson County sheriff's account asked its followers for song suggestions for the lip sync battle.

The Kansas City, Mo., police Twitter and Facebook accounts have not posted a lip sync video in the past week. Neither have the Kansas City, Kan., and Lawrence police Twitter accounts.

In May, Kansas Capitol Police Officer Lamont Jackson in Topeka received national attention after a #PoliceCarKaraoke video of "Love Ballad" by the R&B group L.T.D.
