Worker, 58, electrocuted after touching power line near Pratt
A worker is dead after touching a power line near Pratt, authorities announced in a news release.
The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office said the 58-year-old man was electrocuted after he came into contact with the line while using a bucket truck about 3 p.m. Tuesday. The man was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
His name has not been released.
The man was working in the area of Lake Road and Country Club Road, southeast of Pratt, when he was electrocuted, the sheriff’s office said in the news release.
