Cowley County man, 77, dies after pickup crashes into ditch
A pre-existing medical condition is thought to have caused a 77-year-old Cowley County man to crash his pickup into a ditch, authorities said Friday.
Roger N. Post, of rural Udall, died Thursday at an Arkansas City hospital as the result of crash injuries and the medical condition, Cowley County Sheriff Don Read said.
About 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Post was driving his pickup north in the 24000 block of North 31st Road in Cowley County when the vehicle left the road and entered the ditch.
“We believe the crash was caused by the pre-existing medical condition,” Read said, “and he died as the result of that condition and the injuries.”
