Utility pole replacement to close lanes along Seneca

Traffic along Seneca from MacArthur to 47th Street South will be down to one lane in both directions Sunday and Monday while Westar Energy replaces a steel transmission pole.

The utility said the lanes will close starting at around 6 p.m. Sunday and will remain closed through Monday morning. Crews will remove the existing pole and replace it, including reconnecting wires.

Power outages aren’t expected, Westar said.
