A school bus driver caused a crash while students were on board in Butler County on Thursday afternoon, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports.

The Rose Hill school bus was westbound on Southwest 210th about 3 miles south of Rose Hill at 4 p.m. when it failed to yield as it turned south onto Southwest Butler Road and was hit by an eastbound 2001 Honda passenger car, the report states. Stop signs are posted at the intersection for traffic on Southwest 210th.

The 64-year-old woman driving the bus and 11 children on board were not injured.
