These lion cubs just got their names. It won’t be long before you can meet them
The two lion cubs at Sedgwick County Zoo were born in October, but they just got their names.
The almost 25-pound cubs have been named Amira and Eloise, and you can meet them at the zoo this spring.
For now, the cubs have been exploring the outdoor areas behind the scenes – but only on nice days.
Amira and Eloise were born at the zoo to Patty – a 2-year-old first-time mom – and Michael, a 9-year-old lion.
